The Workshop on Oxidative Enzymes – Driving Innovation in Industrial Oxidation Processes, organized by our partner, UAB and CSIC, and held on January 21, 2025, at the Engineering School of UAB, was a success.
Bringing together leading researchers, industry experts, and professionals, the event explored the latest advancements in biocatalysis and its applications for sustainable chemical transformations, with a focus on the critical role of oxidative enzymes in enhancing industrial oxidation processes. Participants gained valuable insights into enzyme-driven technologies, their applications, and future potential.
In addition to expert presentations and networking opportunities, attendees had the chance to visit the UAB Chemical, Biological, and Environmental Engineering Department, where they toured state-of-the-art facilities dedicated to enzyme research and industrial biotechnology.
