The ROBUSTOO project participated in LignoBiotech 2024, a leading conference dedicated to the latest advances in biomass valorization. Held in Toulouse, the event showcased innovative approaches for transforming biomass fractions - cellulose, hemicelluloses, extractives, and lignin - into sustainable biomaterials, biofuels, and fine chemicals.
With over 100 participants from Europe and the Americas, the conference brought together researchers and experts from the scientific community to address key topics, including:
• Linking biomass molecular structures to biobased products;
• Enzyme discovery and engineering;
• Leveraging AI and modeling for lignocellulose valorization;
• Promoting the circular bioeconomy through full biomass utilization;
During the event, the ROBUSTOO project presented its objectives and scope, emphasizing its role in driving sustainable solutions and advancing biomass valorization technologies.
